Backup and Recovery
- The backup vault must be in the same region as the data source being backed up.
- ❓Is it a hard requirement that the vault be in the same region as the data source or a recommendation? Ref 1.
- In the Azure Recovery Services vault, if you delete any data mistakenly, it goes to soft delete to protect your data and recover backups. It remains in soft delete for 14 days
